What we provide
We provide dish towels, and a limited supply of paper towels, garbage bags and dish soap to get your stay started.
The kitchen is stocked with a wide variety of general cooking utensils and cookware.
The beds all have quilts and extra blankets.
We are happy to provide you with bed linens and towels with a 7+ day notice and at an additional charge. This can be selected when you book online. Cost is $15 per bed for linens and $5 per person for towels.
What you need to bring

Should you choose to bring your own linens, there are two queen beds and two full beds.
Soap, shampoos and other toiletries.
Extra paper products depending on your needs.
Extra garbage bags, depending on your stay length.
Outdoor chairs and fire wood for the fire pit.
Please refer to our detailed instructions that are posted inside the cabin. We strive to make your stay enjoyable and fun and have posted information about the cabin for your safety and enjoyment.
We ask that you treat and respect our cabin as you would your own home. Please leave dirty shoes, and other items outside. A vacuum and broom are available for use as needed.
Check in/out times
Check in time is 3:00 pm unless other arrangements are made with host.
Check out time is 11:00 am unless other arrangements are made with host.
Exterior
Do not drive on any grassed surfaces. There are underground systems that will be damaged. Any resulting damage will be charged to guest.
Please do not use side door to yard, per inside instructions.
Fire pit: there is a fire pit behind the cabin in the woods for guest use. Please clean up after yourself and be respectful of mother nature. You must bring your own wood for the fire pit. Outdoor chairs are not provided.
One of the many reasons we love Cook Forest and spending time here are the trees. We kindly ask that you and your guests respect our trees and do not carve, hack, burn, or chop into them. Both us, and our trees very much thank you for respecting them.
A picnic table is provided for near the fire pit for guest use. Please return table to original position should you move it.
Smoking
Smoking is not permitted inside of the cabin at any time.
Please feel free to smoke on the covered porch or anywhere outside. If an odor of smoke is detected inside the cabin upon checkout, a service fee of $250 will be assessed to handle deep cleaning charges.
Pets
We welcome your well behaved pets and service animals to our cabin with an additional $15 per night cleaning fee per animal to cover extra cleaning protocols. We ask that you adhere to the following policies:
Maximum number of pets or service animals per stay is two.
Please bring towels to wipe down and dry your pet prior to entering the cabin.
Pets must be crated if left alone in the cabin at any time. We can supply a single crate for you if needed, please advise in advance.
Pet parent must clean up pet waste or an additional fee of $50 will be charged.
Pets are not allowed on the furniture or beds.
The mandatory Damage Protection Plan does not cover pet damage. We reserve the right to assess additional charges for any damage resulting from not adhering to these pet policies.
Heat and Air Conditioning
We ask that you turn down the heat and turn off air conditioning prior to leaving as per instructions inside the cabin. Failure to comply with this will result in an additional $30 charge.
Prior to departure, make sure to:
Clean and re-shelve any dishes that you use prior to departure. Kitchen wares are not to be removed from the cabin.
Remove all food goods from cupboards and refrigerator.
Return all furniture to its original position.
Ensure all windows are closed and locked.
Turn down heat as per instructions inside of cabin.
Turn off air conditioners in the summer months.
Close and lock all exterior doors.
To open door, simply enter code.
To lock door enter code and press center "lock" symbol button.
All garbage must be removed and placed in garbage shed at end of driveway. Please ensure you lock garbage shed to prevent wildlife access.
Damages
We understand that life happens...we welcome you to use our cabin as if it was yours. We do inspect our cabin after each stay. Please inform us of any damage or breakage. We are reasonable and will work with guests that are the same. Guests are responsible for all damage to structure or contents while staying here.
